A software system for calculating statistical moments of the decametric radio wave field in the case of oblique propagation
Abstract
A technique for calculating statistical moments of the decametric-wave field in the case of oblique propagation in a randomly irregular ionosphere is considered. The method uses formulas obtained by the geometrical-optics method, the Born scattering method, and the interference integral method. The software system makes it possible to evaluate the effect of ionospheric irregularities on the signal structure at frequencies both below and above the maximum usable frequency.
