Global analytical equinox model for the absorption of high-frequency radio waves
Abstract
A global analytical model for the absorption of radio waves with frequencies above 10 MHz in the case of oblique incidence is developed in the adiabatic approximation. A variant of this approach is presented that is suitable for calculating radio paths for a horizontally irregular ionosphere.
