Longterm Multifrequency Study of 3C273
Abstract
The behavior of 3C 273 is investigated. The sampling of the radio, near IR, visible and UV domains allows a cross-correlation analysis of the different components. The main emerging global features are a first link between thermal (UV) and nonthermal (radio) activities, a strong decoupling of the X-ray emission from all other emission components, a close connection between the UV and the optical light curves (excluding the nonthermal flaring activity) and the stability of the quiescent near infrared emission.
