Existence of Bose-Einstein condensation in one and two dimensions
Abstract
It is shown that in Bose condensed systems the f-sum rule has an additional term due to the condensate reservoir. As a result of this new sum rule and an exact Bogoliubov inequality, Bose-Einstein condensation in repulsively interacting systems may occur in one and two dimensions.
