Synchronization of the receiver for the ISDN basic connection
Abstract
The UIC component, required for user connection to ISDN, is presented. The UIC component realizes the full duplex transmission with a 144 kbit/s bit rate on the two-wire user connection circuit. The substantial requirements for signal processing, switching technique, and technology imposed by the necessary direction separation are discussed. The complexity of the UIC component, as well as the efficiency of the digital signal processing are presented. The concept of the receiver synchronization with its five control circuits is explained.
