Electrical conductivity and thermal emf of Tl-Te-Se melts
Abstract
The electrical conductivity and thermal emf of Tl-Te-Se melts are investigated as a function of the melting temperature up to 1000 K. The concentration dependences of the parameters investigated are presented. Based on the results obtained, combined with data for binary systems, isothermal surfaces of electrical conductivity and thermal emf are constructed for the ternary system Tl-Te-Se at 750 K. Results indicate the possibility of controlling the electron properties of complex semiconductor systems with segregation regions.
