Radio-signal structure in the case of back-oblique sounding of the ionosphere
Abstract
The interference integral method is used to obtain formulas for the mean signal intensity in the case of the back-oblique sounding of the ionosphere. The formulas make it possible to take into account the caustic focusing of the field in the vicinity of the dead-zone boundary in the presence of random ionospheric irregularities.
