Generalized waveguide bifurcation problems
Abstract
Diffraction problems are formulated for three bifurcated waveguides whose various surfaces are characterized by impedance boundary conditions. Each problem is examined to see if it, or a subproblem, is explicitly solvable by current Wiener-Hopf techniques. A table of such solvable, but hitherto not solved problems is presented and it is indicated whether scalar or matrix Wiener-Hopf factorization is required.
