Superconductivity as a consequence of the anomalous nonlinear polarizability of electrons with a surface of extrema in the dispersion law
Abstract
In the case of a semiconductor with a surface or a line (loop) of extrema, there exists an alloying interval in which the correlation energy exceeds the kinetic energy even in the case of weak interaction. In such a case, superconductivity results from interelectron attraction due to the quadratic nonlinear polarizability of the electrons.
