Measurement of the energy gap in superconducting crystals of the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system using the tunnel-effect technique
Abstract
The tunnel-effect technique was used to measwure the energy gap and its temperature dependence in single crystals of the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system. The samples considered were found to have two superconducting phases with Tc = 65 and 28 K, for which the 2Delta(0)/kTc ratios amounted to 7.1 and 7.0, respectively.
