Neutron studies of the temperature dependence of the dynamics and structure of La(2-x)Sr(x)CuO(4-y) superconducting ceramics
Abstract
The inelastic scattering and neutron diffraction spectra in La2CuO(4-y) and La(1.8)Sr(0.2)CuO(4-y) compounds are investigated experimentally at 290, 77, and 10 K. In the inelastic scattering spectra at 77 and 10 K, a line with an energy of about 6 meV has been identified whose intensity vs temperature characteristic suggests the magnetic nature of the corresponding excitation. Detailed experimental results are presented.
