Limiting distribution of magnetic field intensity in random flow
Abstract
The steady-state magnetic field distribution is determined for a nonlinear model of field generation by a random flow of a conducting fluid. Conditions are formulated under which nonlinearity retains structural characteristics of the field generated at the linear stage. The results obtained suggest the intermittent nature of a magnetic field at a small scale.
