The relaxation of the energy storage of the oxygen-iodine active medium with bonded iodine
Abstract
The kinetics of the oxygen-iodine medium with bonded iodine is discussed. The evolution of the energy storage of the active medium which is governed by quenching at the dark stage of medium preparation is determined. The temporal dependences of the singlet oxygen concentration and the gain during the production of the atomic iodine in mixtures containing CH3I, C3F7I, and CF3I are studied theoretically.
