Pulsed dye laser with precise automatic tuning of the radiation wavelength based on an electrodynamic drive of the diffraction-grating rotation
Abstract
The paper describes a dye laser with a scanning device that automatically regulates the position of the diffraction grating. The automatic tuning system can easily be interfaced with a computer, and makes it possible to set the required wavelength rapidly, accurately, and with a high degree of reproducibility. Results of the interferometric study of this system are presented.
