Classification of Pairing States under Crystalline Symmetry in Exotic Superconductivity
Abstract
A group-theoretic argument is given to obtain possible forms of a pairing interaction which is short-ranged in nature and to enumerate pairing wave functions allowed under a certain crystalline symmetry, e.g., a two-dimensional square lattice. The implications of the results are discussed in conjunction with high-TC oxide superconductors and heavy Fermion materials.
