Characteristic curves for the specroscopic performance of free-standing wire grids at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths
Abstract
Calculated characteristic curves are presented which describe the spectroscopic performance of free-standing wire grids at millimetre and submillimetre wavelengths. The curves are confined to the range where there is good agreement between calculated and measured performance, and they provide a reliable framework for the selection or design of wire grids for use in a wide range of practical applications.
