Variations of the Earth's magnetic field, solar and geomagnetic activity in the range of 1 < T < 10 years.
Abstract
Variations of geomagnetic field strength, sunspot number, and aa index in the 1-10-year range are analyzed. This analysis points to the existence of three different mechanisms for the generation of these variations in the solar dynamics (with periods of 2, 4, and 6 years), which are reflected in the dynamics of the DR and DCF magnetospheric current systems as well as in the occurrence of corresponding variations of geomagnetic field strength.
