A study of point contacts of YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) single crystals in tunneling and metallic regimes
Abstract
The study is concerned with the effect of the operating regime of a point contact consisting of a YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) single crystal and a metal electrode (Al, Nb) on gap singularities in the volt-ampere characteristics of the point contact. Two gap singularities, at 10 meV and 23-30 meV, respectively, are identified in the tunneling regime. In addition to gap singularities, certain resonance singularities are observed in the metallic regime.
