Low mobility of charge carriers in YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) compound
Abstract
Experimental results are presented on the galvanomagnetic properties and IR reflection spectra of hot-pressed YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) specimens oxidized to various degrees. Sufficiently oxidized specimens become superconducting at 90-94 K. The galvanomagnetic and optical measurements also indicate that charge carriers in YBa2C3O(7-delta) are characterized by low mobility. It is suggested that one of the factors responsible for the low charge carrier mobility may be the polaron effect in the disordered lattice.
