Components for communication and radar technology
Abstract
Recent advances in the design of HF components to be incorporated into transmitters and receivers for radar or satellite-communication applications are described. Particular attention is given to a 10-GHz phase-locked oscillator, a 16-18-GHz oscillator, a 66-channel 400-MHz transmitter package for a satellite data-collection platform, a 35-GHz TWT amplifier, a 10-W GaAs FET power amplifier for a C-band antenna, and a 1.7-GHz/130-140-MHz downconverter unit for Meteosat. Diagrams, photographs, and tables listing device parameters are provided.
