Search for new types of high-temperature superconductors - Microwave absorption in small magnetic fields
Abstract
A highly sensitive noncontact method of searching for the superconducting phase in candidate high-Tc superconductor materials is described which is based on the dependence of the microwave absorption level on the magnetic-field scanning direction with the specimen placed in the cavity of an EPR spectrometer. This EPR spectroscopy technique was used to search for superconducting phases in vanadium-molybdenum systems.
