Supporting evidence of micro-nonequilibrium on the simulated magnetopause - Further predictions and suggestions
Abstract
A laboratory experiment, performed in 1966 by Kawashima and Mori, suggests the existence of a micro-nonequilibrium on the dawn-side of the magnetopause. This magnetosphere-solar wind simulation indicates that the plasma intrudes into the simulated magnetosphere via the morning side of the magnetopause. This has been predicted by a micro-nonequilibrium theory. More predictions and suggestions are made to accommodate further laboratory tests on the micro-nonequilibrium theory.
