High temperature superconductivity research at Argonne National Laboratory
Abstract
Results are presented on the YBa2Cu3O sub 7-x phase, including the structure determination using neutron powder diffraction at IPNS, single-crystal measurements of magnetic anisotropy, and specific-heat measurements of the bulk superconducting transition. Theoretical and experimental considerations of the electronic anisotropies are discussed.
