High latitude problems to be studied by incoherent scatter radars
Abstract
The use of incoherent scatter radar to study ionospheric and magnetospheric phenomena is discussed. Electric fields; field aligned electric currents; auroras; substorms; and solar wind-magnetosphere interactions are considered.
