A new clear-air interference prediction method for small time percentages
Abstract
A model for the prediction of clear-air interference for land and coastal land paths is proposed which is based on the theory of reflection from elevated layers. Results of preliminary prediction tests are presented for both land and coastal land paths. The results indicate that the model proposed here may be significantly better than the existing prediction methods for frequencies between about 1 GHz and 18 GHz.
