Multichannel electron counter with high space resolution
Abstract
A multichannel scintillation counter of electrons with high space resolution delta = 5.8 x 0.0001 is developed to detect high-energy electrons at the output from the SP-95 magnetic spectrometer. A mechanism and control unit permitting to establish automatically detectors at the best focusing point according to the given parameters, and to use the best resolution of the spectrometer are developed. The counter is made on the base of PM-87 and PM-30 temporary photomultipliers.
