Crystal field effects in the resistivity of the singlet ground state PrIn 3 compound
Abstract
Results of the experimentally found temperature dependence of the magnetic resistivity for PrIn 3 are compared with theoretical data for two possible scattering mechanisms. A good quantitative agreement between theory and experiment is observed at low temperature region in the case of the pure crystal field effected exchange scattering.
