Excitation of magnetostatic waves in a layered ferrite-semiconductor structure by a scanning current
Abstract
The possibility of magnetostatic wave generation by a scanning current in a layered ferrite-semiconductor structure is demonstrated theoretically. An analysis of the equations obtained indicates that this effect can be observed experimentally. The scanning current can be generated not only by an electron beam but also by a light beam scanned over a photoconductor or a p-n junction (parallel to the 0xy axis) connected in a photodiode circuit.
