Measurement of the absolute frequency of the He-Ne/CH4 laser
Abstract
Absolute measurements of the F2(2) methane transition were made for an He-Ne/CH4 laser at a wavelength of 3.39 microns; 28 series of measurements were made in 1981 and 27 series were made in 1983 using an Rb frequency standard. Also presented are results of frequency-difference measurements for the F2(2) and E transitions of methane.
