Dynamic models of the free atmosphere
Abstract
The main principles behind the development of numerical models for the large-scale dynamics of the free atmosphere (15-600 km) are elaborated systematicaly and in detail. Particular attention is given to a model of the ozonosphere, a model of the winter variability of the mesosphere-thermosphere, a model for the general circulation of the thermosphere, and a model of the upper ionosphere.
