Novel monoenergetic neutron sources for energies between 2.5 and 25.7 MeV
Abstract
It is shown that two (p, n) reactions after inverting projectile and target, namely 1H( 11B,n) 11C and 1H( 15N, n) 15O are suited for monoenergetic neutron production from 2.5 to 11.9 MeV and 3.3 to 25.7 MeV, respectively.
