Numerical methods in diffraction problems
Abstract
The integral equation method for solving two-dimensional problems in wave diffraction by cylindrical bodies is presented. The problems examined include diffraction by a solitary body, an array of bodies, and a waveguide. Rigorous statements of diffraction problems are presented and numerical methods are demonstrated. The discussion is illustrated by numerous examples.
