Superconductivity in the system La(2-x)Sr(x)CuO(4-y)
Abstract
The paper reports the results of an experimental study of the superconducting transition of La(1.825)Sr(0.175)CuO(4-y) ceramic, whose transition width is significantly less than 8 K and whose resistance at 32 K or below is zero with an accuracy of 10 to the -5th - 10 to the -6th ohm. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of the ceramic and the structure of the material are analyzed on the basis of X-ray diffraction studies. The results of X-ray diffraction analysis and data on the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of the material indicate that this superconducting ceramic is a dual-phase system.
