DQ Herculis orbital period variations according to 1982-1986 observations.
Abstract
The eclipses of the primary component by the secondary one in DQ Herculis (N Her 1934) were analyzed by the light curves obtained by photometric observations in 1982 - 1986. It is suspected that the value O-C varies with time by the sinusoidal law with a period of about five years. Even being confirmed by further observations, any hypothesis - either the presence of the third component in the system, or the rotation of apsid line - seems inadequate to explain the phenomenon because the secondary minimum is not to be seen on the UBVRI light curve.
