Autocollimation Adjustment and Stability Investigation of the RATAN-600 Radio Telescope
Abstract
The autocollimation method used for adjusting the radio telescope (relative positioning of the main mirror screens) and for some other measurements is described. The autocollimation method of adjustment is being used for providing observations at the radio telescope for more than 10 years. Stability of the radio telescope focusing system and reliability of counting-adjusting mechanisms of screens are estimated on the basis of measurement results obtained during this time.
