Two-dimensional flow computation in straight blade arrays
Abstract
The contribution of viscous effects to reducing turbomachinery flow stability is studied. The separation of the boundary layer at the leading edge is analyzed. A computation method is proposed to estimate the flow modifications starting from experimental pressure distribution data measured on a single blade or on a straight blade array.
