On a new boundary element spectral method
Abstract
Boundary element spectral methods, which combine boundary element methods with fast spectral methods to overcome the problem of nonhomogeneous terms in the differential equations, are briefly described. The methods are demonstrated for the Stokes problems of viscous hydrodynamics, but it is noted that most of the proposed methods can be applied to other problems in this field.
