The finite element method in fluid mechanics
Abstract
Elliptic partial differential equations ecountered in fluid mechanics boundary value problems are introduced. Finite element method applications to steady compressible and incompressible potential flow, and steady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are illustrated.
