Trends in the astrophysics of light elements: cosmology and stellar physics.
Abstract
The properties (nuclear, atomic, molecular) of the light elements H, He, and Li are known well enough to warrant the study of many astrophysical processes through their abundance determinations. The author reviews three domains to which this situation applies: (A) The species multiplicity of elementary particles. (B) The stability of the extra dimensions of the cosmos. (C) The kinetics of stellar surfaces and stellar winds.
