Compensation for rigid and deformational displacements in speckle-shearing interferometry
Abstract
The interpretation of speckle-shearing interferograms is analyzed. Information on displacements can be separated from information on their derivatives through the simultaneous recording of speckle patterns in the sharp-image plane and in a defocused image plane. A method is proposed for optically compensating for deformational displacements through the use of flexible mirrors.
