The critical temperature of SIS contacts with magnetic impurities in the dielectric interlayer region
Abstract
A study is made of the effect of ordered magnetic impurities in the potential barrier region on the critical temperature of a Josephson junction of finite dimensions. Equations are presented for the ordering parameter of the system. It is shown that the shift of the critical temperature of a finite Josephson contact relative to the critical temperature of a contact of infinite length depends nonmonotonically on the exchange field of impurity spins.
