International Workshop on Physics and Engineering of Computerized Multidimensional Imaging and Processing, Newport Beach, CA, Apr. 2-4, 1986, Proceedings
Abstract
The theory, instrumentation, and applications of computer tomography and related imaging methods are discussed in reviews and reports. Topics examined include algorithms and X-ray computerized tomography, ultrasound and unconventional imaging techniques, display techniques, single-photon-emission computed tomography, positron-emission tomography, and nuclear magnetic resonance. Biomedical applications are emphasized, but consideration is also given to digital imaging of gaseous flow fields and NMR imaging of incoherent liquid flows.
