The application of interval analysis in circuit theory
Abstract
An approach to the construction and investigation of mathematical models of circuits on the basis of interval analysis is proposed. This approach can be effectively used when some of the circuit parameters or input data vary independently of one another within definite limits. Attention is given to the possibility of using interval analysis to obtain interval estimates of circuit input signals, to estimate the stability of linear circuits, and to solve nonlinear and optimization problems arising in the analysis and synthesis of circuits.
