Orbits of spectroscopic binaries. II. The double-lined binary HD 1383.
Abstract
The spectroscopic orbits for the primary and secondary components of the massive system HD 1383 have been determined by cross-correlation techniques. The use of a synthetic spectrum as a mask for the cross-correlation process is briefly described, along with the effects of tapering the Fourier transform of the comparison spectrum.
