Numerical modeling of electrooptically Q-switched ring and linear lasers
Abstract
Electrooptically Q-switched ring and linear solid-state lasers are simulated numerically, with emission intensity and inverted population calculated for an active element of finite length. A system of balance equations is presented for the loss switching and resonator unloading methods. It is shown that the numerical simulation of monopules lasers on a computer makes it possible to determine laser emission parameters without using any simplifying models.
