Through-flow behavior and heat conduction in plane unstepped labyrinth
Abstract
Experimental and numerical studies on the through-flow behavior and heat conduction in plane unstepped labyrinths are briefly reviewed. The test installation is sketched and the numerical method utilized is summarized. Calculated values for the velocity and pressure in the test installation are given and discussed. The usefulness of the present results is evaluated, and the need for further studies is addressed.
