Millimeter-wave responses of a micro-contact Josephson junction using a new structure
Abstract
Attention is given to the mm-wave response characteristics of a microcontact Josephson device, as well as to its design features and fabrication process. The 41st step in the I-V characteristics in one device of this type has been observed under the application of 70 GHz. RF heating is noted to have little effect on the operation of these devices, due to the superior heat removal possibilities of their three-dimensional structure.
