Interaction of a charged particle with a magnetic flux rope
Abstract
The momentnum transfer from a charged particle to a flux rope is determined in a computer analysis. The results are generalized using a vector diagram including velocities of particle entry into and exit from the rope. The results are of interest in connection with investigations of processes in various astrophysical objects, including the solar photosphere and the Venus ionosphere.
