Exact integrodifferential equation for the ground state of an N-body system interacting with the help of a two-body potential
Abstract
It is shown that a previously obtained (de la Ripelle, 1983, 1984) two-variable integrodifferential equation solution describing the ground state of a many-boson system with two-body correlations, is exact. It is noted that the present derivation is also valid for the ground state of a many-fermion system interacting by means of a two-body Wigner force, and that for more complicated two-body forces and atomic states one obtains coupled integrodifferential equations.
