Spectroscopic environmental measuring techniques
Abstract
Spectrometers with broadband light sources, and atmospheric trace gas analysis using diode lasers are presented. The sensitivity of the instruments is increased by orders of magnitude by the development of line detectors and diode lasers, and by the application of data evaluation methods of other fields (derivative spectroscopy). The broad combination possibilities of several spectrometer types allow a substantial extension of the application domain of spectroscopic trace gas analyzers.
